F-1 Grand Prix Part III is the only game of Video System's top-down F1 games without an arcade release, and their second-last Formula One game until 1998's F1 World Grand Prix. The inclusion of Ayrton Senna (alongside Nelson Piquet) as a secret character (during which period most Formula One games couldn't feature him, except for one stealth attempt) makes it the last game to feature him as an active driver before his death nine days after the game's release.

Hmmm...
To do:
Investigate further, some screens may use "Original 1" or variations of it.

Using the Original option in the mode select, you can create one custom team of your own (this is also used to reveal Senna and Piquet). However, there's seems to be plans that allowed you to create two custom teams instead, as well as loading your Story Mode custom team to be used in Free Run mode. It should be noted that when playing Story Mode, memory-wise, the game temporarily replaces your Free Run custom team with the currently loaded Story Mode custom team data.
