Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

Final Stretch is a Formula One game developed by a developer better known for Japanese street racing. It is a sequel to Aguri Suzuki F-1 Super Driving/Redline F-1 Racer.

Player Names

When starting a Time Attack or Expert GP game, enter one of the below words as your name.

Except for the first two, all of these names require some awkward manipulation of the controller in order to work. After entering the name, you must press and hold A on the "END" option while also simultaneously holding L + R + X + Down + Left.

Player name Effect
SEX Changes name to "HAMAGAKI".
ENDING00 View the endings.
TESTMODE Activate the test mode.
COURSExx Go to a specific course (00 to 15).
JR Unknown (same effect).

Test Mode

Entering the test mode takes you to this screen, which shows the version numbers of the SNES's CPU and PPU chips. It's also supposed to show controller input, but nothing else on this screen seems to do anything. Pressing Start + Select takes you back to the main menu.
