Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes
Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes |
---|
Developers: Omega Force,
Team Ninja This game has unused playable characters. |
Taking the same ideas as Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes is an alternate canon midquel to Three Houses and spin-off to Fire Emblem Warriors.
Also available on the New Nintendo 3DS.
To do: Sources: Check for any leftovers from Three Houses, as they reuse the engine (but updated) and assets. |

Unused Playable Characters
To do: Document the leftover data for the unused playable characters. |
NPCs
Hanneman, Cyril, Anna, Gilbert, and Alois have playable character data such as food preferences and other unique character quirks that are carried over from their playable appearances in Three Houses. They also have unused recruitment flags but lack any unique stats, abilities, and growths, and the game will crash when trying to deploy them or load them in events as well. Lastly, Anna's the only character of the five who lacks unique class icons, as her respective assets weren't carried over from Three Houses.
Unknown Characters
These three unknown characters all share the portrait of Male Byleth, whose portrait is the first in the code internally, used as a placeholder. Currently their data is completely blank.
Unused Classes
To do: Test how complete the other 3 classes are. |
There are four classes scrapped within' Three Hopes.
The first one is Hero, which is usable through hacking but appears to be unfinished due to reusing animations from the Mercenary class and lacking a Class Action animation.
Meanwhile, the other 3 classes have no name, battle data, nor graphical/animation assets to draw from, though it's worth noting their internal IDs are the same of the War Monk, Dark Flyer, and Valkyrie classes previously introduced with Three Houses ' DLC.
ID | Class | HP+ | STR+ | MAG+ | DEX+ | SPD+ | LCK+ | DEF+ | RES+ | CHA+ | Ability 1 | Ability 2 | Ability 3 | Ability 4 | Move Type | Class Tier | Note |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|

33 | ? | (+2) | 1 | 1 (-2) | 2 | 2 | Mage | 4 Master | Placeholder data for War Monk? | ||||||||
34 | ? | -6 | 2 | Flier (Mage) | 4 Master | Placeholder data for Dark Flier? | |||||||||||
35 | ? | 200 | 2 | 4 | 1 | 1 | 2 | Cavalry (Mage) | 4 Master | Placeholder data for Valkyrie? | |||||||
36 | ? | 800 | 5 | 5 | 2 | 2 | 3 | 3 | 3 | Charm | Terrain Resistance | 1A0 | Infantry | 4 Master | Placeholder data for Archbishop? Seems to be more complete than every other unused class. |
Unused Text
Unused Dialogue
To do: Provide the text and voice clips mentioned, and look for other instances of unused character interactions (i.e. Edelgard & Lord Arundel...) |
Thales, Solon, Kronya, Cornelia, Hanneman, Alois, Nader, and Rufus have unused dialogue fully voiced which is meant to be used when deployed in battle as playable and allied units. Interestingly, Thales, Solon, Kronya and Cornelia have unused banter between each other, while Cornelia has dialogue meant to be used when fighting with an ally Hapi.
Unused Chapter Titles
Flower Interlude Moon Interlude Wind Interlude
These 3 names are listed as Chapters 49-51 internally. Unfortunately, there is no data surrounding these chapters aside from the names.
Unused Movie Title
A Lingering Azure Gleam (Alternate Path)
Text for an unused alternative ending cutscene for Azure Gleam. In-game, only the Scarlet Blaze route gets an alternate ending which can only be accessed by recruiting Byleth, suggesting a similar scenario was considered for Azure Gleam at one point.
Unused Graphics
Unused Class Sprite
Graphic assets for characters using the scrapped Hero class —both playable and NPCs— can still be found within the game's files.
Unused Portraits
Petra With Glasses
Petra has 2 unused variants where she wears glasses. Petra did wear glasses in her C support with Ignatz in Three Houses, and while this could be a remnant from said game (given both lack the ability to support in Three Hopes), the presence of a post-timeskip portrait meant for this game does put that into question.
Blurried Three Houses Dimitri
A blurred portrait of Three Houses' post-timeskip Dimitri, which happens to be a leftover from said game.
Blushing Portraits
There are multiple characters who have portraits where they blush in spite of never using this emotion at any point. A few of these are used in Three Houses, while others are brand new to this game.
Awakened Shez Without Fire Background
A unused variant of Awakened male and female Shez without the fire background.
Male | Female |
---|---|
Young Edelgard and Dimitri
Upper body portraits of child Edelgard and Dimitri. Unlike with Three Houses, no flashback featuring both characters in their childhood happen in the game, leaving both portraits unused.
Unused Models
To do: Textures of the unused models, also, is there more? |
Hegemon Edelgard's 3D Model
Even though this form of Edelgard appears only in one pre-rendered movie in-game, the model used for it does exist withing Three Hopes' files but lies technically unused in-game.
Byleth on pegasus
A model of a refence pose male Byleth on a pegasus, likely used as a placeholder.
Regional Differences
Cleobulus' Gender
Speaker | Expression | Dialogue (JP) | Dialogue (EN) |
---|---|---|---|
Lord Arundel | Neutral | 焦ってはならんな。 王都のクレオブロスに伝えておけ。 (Do not panic. Inform Cleobulus in the Kingdom's capital the following.) |
Keep our composure, for a start. Send word to the Kingdom and see that Cleobulus is informed. |
Lord Arundel | Neutral | 軽挙妄動を控えよ。 姿を隠すことも構わぬ、と。 (Refrain from acting rashly. And be prepared to go into hiding.) |
Tell him to remain prudent. If he must go into hiding, so be it. |
In Warriors: Three Hopes, it's revealed the character of Cornelia is being impersonated by Cleobulus of "those who slither in the dark" (whom incidentally had data back in Three Houses which went unused), whose true form is never revealed during the game. In spite of this, how the character's gender is handled differs between regions.
In the English script, Lord Arundel/Thales alludes Cleobulus is male in the story event "The Imperial Regent". In contrast, the original Japanese script doesn't use any pronouns when Thales talks about Cleobulus in that scene.
Internal Project Name
The internal name for this game is listed as Season.
