Galaga is the sequel to Galaxian, which turned out to be pretty successful and much better than its predecessor, to the point where most people today don't even realize that Galaxian actually came first.

Unused Graphics
This unused ship is found amongst the point graphics. Unlike the enemy and player graphics, it has no rotated frames.
There is also a second palette swap for it, but it is simply a color switch.
It's unknown what this is or what it was for, but it may be an alternate tractor beam graphic of sorts.
A 500-point graphic, but no enemies have this value. Perhaps an enemy in the game was originally worth 500 points?
Easter Egg
In Service Mode, hold Button 1 and press Right (x5), Left (x6), Right (x3), Left (x7). If done correctly, "©1981 NAMCO LTD." will appear on-screen.
