Unused Songlist Graphics

Found in files COMMON.BIN and SELECT.BIN in folder TEX are songlist graphics for three unused songs: BASKET CASE (possbily a cover of the Green Day song), BORN TO BE WILD (a cover of the Steppenwolf song, which later appeared in the following game), LONELY HEART (possibly a cover of Owner of a Lonely Heart by Yes), and YOU GIVE LOVE A BAD NAME (a cover of the Bon Jovi song, which later appeared in GuitarFreaks 6thMix).

Unused Background Animation Graphic Set

The file LAYLA.BIN in folder TEX does not seem to fit within any of the available songs in-game. In fact, it's a background animation sprite set for an unused song: LAYLA, possibly a cover of the Derek & The Dominos song. Between the set is also included a background sprite from the song Cool Joe.

Unused Background Animation Sprites

The sets for the background animations of songs LUCKY? STAFF and King G, present at files ENDING.BIN and KING.BIN in folder TEX seem to contain leftover sprites from its previous appearances in GuitarFreaks and GuitarFreaks 2ndMix, respectively. These include the credits text from both games.

Additionally, a background and three lyric graphics for the song SMOKE ON THE WATER (whose graphics are present in file DEEP.BIN in folder TEX) can be found, although they are not displayed.

DOUBLE ORBIT

Among the game's files, there is complete audio data for the song DOUBLE ORBIT, which had previously appeared in drummania 2ndMIX, and that never made a proper appearance in a GuitarFreaks title (it was included in two medleys introduced in later games). There does not seem to be chart data.
