Hellboy: Asylum Seeker is a game based on Dark Horse Comics' science fiction comic book series Hellboy, written and drawn by Mike Mignola. It is a port of the Windows game Hellboy: Dogs of the Night.

Inside the folder IMG are several unused graphics:

FRANCE.TGA, GERMANY.TGA, ITALY.TGA, SPAIN.TGA and UK.TGA are country flags likely meant for a language selection screen. In the final game, the only available language is English.

CRYO.TGA is a logo for Cryo Interactive, which is never displayed.

LOAD.TGA is a different version of the "load a game" prompt background, with a slightly different text placement.

Likewise, SOUND.TGA is a different version of the sound options background, also with different text placement.

Unused Dialogue

The directory DIA contains the game's dialogue file, PRIME.TXT. Within it, there are developer comments, as well as unused lines. Additionally, entire scripts for French, German, Italian and Spanish languages are also present.
