Yo, I keep getting an error on Google Chrome where, on each page about a game, or the login page, it keeps freezing and saying that Shockwave crashed. It freezes for quite a few minutes until the "Stop unknown frozen program" prompt. It doesn't happen to me on any other website with Shockwave, so I assume it's on TCRF's end, not mine. A little help here would be nice! Thanks! --Sketch 21:04, 23 July 2012 (EDT)

The problem with that statement is that TCRF doesn't use Shockwave. I'm not seeing anything strange on my end, and nobody else has complained about it. Might want to do a malware scan if you haven't already. --BMF54123 21:59, 23 July 2012 (EDT)
If you can, try to right click and View Source. If you can grab that, throw it on pastebin and link it here. (Maybe disable plugins in Chrome, if you can.) TCRF only uses Flash for YouTube videos, no Shockwave anywhere. --Xk-sig.png Xkeeper (talk) 22:02, 23 July 2012 (EDT)

User Preferences

I think I'm going to start a page on user prefs (setting up time zones and whatnot), watchlists, and whatnot in the future. The wiki already has extensive info on other matters, but I feel these could also be helpful for users. --From: divingkataetheweirdo 19:01, 28 February 2013 (EST)

Opinions

So far, I've noticed there's no explicit guidelines for or against opinions. What should we do about these? I fear this could easily worsen over time. Should these be included or should we go for a more Wikipedia-esque description for everything? Personally, a bit of opinion here and there isn't a big deal, but it should not devolve in a rant. It also shouldn't mean placing a review in the middle of the page or just sticking a review in the description for the game. --From: divingkataetheweirdo (talk) 12:41, 26 January 2015 (EST)

Ocarina of Time is considered great, Banjo-Kazooie is considered good, Daikatana is considered not good, Sonic '06 is considered terrible. How's that? --AquaBat (talk) 13:13, 26 January 2015 (EST)
I personally try to keep opinions out of descriptions unless they're the general consensus, similar to what AquaBat does. Nobody is going to say that Superman 64 is a good game, for example. // Foxhack 13:38, 26 January 2015 (EST)
The Descriptions section of Creating Articles has been updated in order to (hopefully) address this problem. If this isn't sufficient, please let me know. --BMF54123 (talk) 17:23, 27 January 2015 (EST)

Signature

Hello, I'm new on this wiki. There's some rules on a user's signature? MarioMario456 (talk) 14:43, 10 February 2017 (EST)

I now have my unique sig, now what? MM456Sig.png® 15:01, 10 February 2017 (EST)

How I need to wait to become autoconfirmed?

How I become autoconfirmed? MM456Sig.png® 09:16, 12 February 2017 (EST)

It takes about a week I think and after you've made some non-Userspace edits. How do you not know this, considering you've been on MarioWiki for almost a year? :P --CeilingFan (talk) 09:37, 12 February 2017 (EST)

I hate it when that happens. Happened to me before with a YT video showcasing Lunar: The Silver Star's debug menu. As for me, I'm not familiar with PS3 hacking at all. I'll see if I can do anything about it. If not, add a to do about it. --From: divingkataetheweirdo (talk) 23:21, 21 April 2017 (EDT)
If you happened to buy access to that debug menu from a certain online group, we can't offer you any help, sorry. -Ehm (talk) 00:52, 22 April 2017 (EDT)
