Hissatsu Pachinko Collection 2 makes the bold decision of exchanging the gratuitous fanservice of the last game for a male pachinko attendant. Don't worry(?), they'll both be back in full force for the next one.

Unused Music

This arrangement of Hotaru no Hikari, a song which shares its melody with Auld Lang Syne and is commonly played at closing time in Japanese stores, is present for a similar purpose in this game. However, it only plays here if the player is at a pachinko machine at the time of closing (10:00pm), and is cut short as the game quickly returns you to the main parlor menu before kicking you back home in a few short seconds.

This song is also present in the first game, where it can be heard in full as that game simply disables any option from being selected other than leaving at closing time rather than forcing you out automatically. The latter behavior would carry over to the subsequent two entries in the series however, where the closing music for those titles are similarly cut short.

On the seventh day of each in-game month, a lucky draw is offered at the pachinko Parlor Fuji. If won, it awards the player with a "freebie" artwork that can be accessed in the bedroom menu. However, the game ends after a year passes in-game, which means that the thirteenth and final freebie, this beautiful yet haunting pocket-watch, is unable to be won or viewed.
