Innsmouth no Yakata is a unique arcade-style survival horror game based loosely on the writings of H.P. Lovecraft, tragically stuck as a late release Virtual Boy game.
A US version, "Mansion of Insmouse", was to be published by Acclaim. While scrapped, a localization build surfaced in December 2004 in a public bankruptcy auction in Ohio, where Acclaim's stuff was sold.

DEMO Oddity
Entering DEMO as a password brings you to the stage from the game's intro. It doesn't appear on the path screen, doesn't have a title graphic, and causes an immediate Time Over.
