카라테카는 모든 것을 발로 차는 뻣뻣한-다리를 가진 공수도 주인공이 로토스코핑되어 옆으로 스크롤되면서 싸움을 벌이는 게임이다. 새까지 말이다.
상하 반전
카라테카는 A 면에만 담겨있지만, B 면에는 위아래가 뒤집혀서 플레이하도록 변경된 게임의 사본이 담겨있다. 조단 매크너에 의하면, 이는 기술지원팀이 누군가가 게임이 뒤집혔다고 하면 디스크를 뒤집어 넣어서 그런다고 재미있게 얘기할 수 있게 하기 위한 Brøderbund의 장난이다. 이런.
