Magic Dragon is an unlicensed game that's something of an R-Type clone, and the one and only known game by the enigmatic Magicseries Corp. No one is quite sure who they were, where they came from or where they went.

Unused title screen

The game contains graphics for what appears to be an unused title screen reading "解放战争" in Chinese. This translates to "War of Liberation", the name commonly used in mainland China for the Chinese Civil War, which as far as I know didn't take place even partially in space or involve any aliens whatsoever, so this title is possibly from a different game. It's loaded in along with the logo animation, so it may have been copied from an, as of yet, undiscovered earlier Magicseries game.
