maimai DX BUDDiES is an arcade rhythm game released by Sega, which is the 22nd game of the maimai series or the 9th game of the DX series chronologically. Also, the last maimai game to developed under Sega until it spun-off its amusement division to Sega Toys and renamed itself to Sega Fave the following year.
