Unused Graphics

To anyone's surprise, cube.tpl, an image of a GameCube console on a blue backdrop, is present here!

movie_logo.tpl

Found inside of movie_logo.tpl is the Movies logo, which was used in the earlier GameCube demo discs.

If the Sonic Heroes demo is extracted and converted out of the encrypted TGC format to be a bootable GameCube game, it reveals that it has a complete banner to go along with the description. Since the game takes the player right straight to the demo, this doesn't get seen. Note that it looks slightly different to the one that's seen in the final version of Sonic Heroes, as the red square line was removed.

Unused Banner Description

(C) SONICTEAM / SEGA, 2003
Try Sonic Speed Team Action !!!

An early banner description for Sonic Heroes that would be displayed if the player went to the gameplay menu on GameCube, but again, because the demo isn't available on its own, this isn't used either. Another note is that the Engrish grammar is noticeable here, and there are no mentions of 12 heroes.

Oddities

MKDDBonusDisc-SonicHeroesLogo DemoTutorial.png
Due to the trademark being too obscure with the background, it uses a different version of the Sonic Heroes logo (which has a white trademark)...and it's also used on the demo tutorial screen. However, it's actually very similar, if not identical, to the one used in two GameCube builds of that game. It can only be seen outside of the demo, as the final version is used there instead.
