So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?
Hmmm...
To do:
Regional differences, such as:
  • Japanese exclusive battles, like Rintaro and ????? (Koichimaru with a mask).
  • English version has a bugged Rubberobo Gang member in Ninja Park.

Medabots is the first game in the Metabots series to get an international release, and is actually a remake of the Japan-only Game Boy game Medarot 2. This game was released in two versions, Metabee (Kabuto) and Rokusho (Kuwagata).

Regional Differences

  • The model number from the parts were removed outside Japan.
  • For unknown reasons, the "Select" in the Select Corps buildings were replaced by "Troop" in English.

The music for the intro and title screen have also been altered between regions, with the western release replacing the original song with the anime dub theme and some vocal bits from it sprinkled during the intro sequence. Additionally, the music starts playing before all the company logos fade out in the US/European version.
