Detective Pikachu is about a young man, accompanied by a gruff, wisecracking Pikachu wearing a deerstalker, as they embark on solving mysteries around Ryme City.

The game was initially released exclusively in 2016 as Meitantei Pikachu: Shin Konbi Tanjo or Detective Pikachu: Birth of a New Duo. The game eventually saw an international release when an expanded version followed two years later...though, they do share almost all of the same unused content.

Also, the amiibo is huge.
