More regional differences; find out more about this "Readme" menu in the Japanese versions.

Before Gran Turismo drove onto the PlayStation, there was the Motor Toon Grand Prix series, which was also about cars and driving, but instead of meticulously realistic vehicles you drive around in toon cars.

This game was originally called Motor Toon Grand Prix 2 and is the sequel to a 1994 Japanese PS1 launch title.

Regional Differences

Due to the name change, the logo and name in the opening movie, title screen, and main menu as well as the title call out in the opening movie were altered in the US version.

The Japanese versions have a "Readme" section in the Goodies menu. This was omitted in the American and European versions.
