Mystery Case Files: Shadow Lake is the ninth in the series, and the last one to be developed by Big Fish Games Studios. In this one, the Master Detective is called by TV show psychic Cassandra Williams (played by Lea Thompson) to investigate the abandoned town of Bitterford, Maine. Get jumpscared by a pigeon! See a reanimated prisoner! Watch children fall to their death off the top of a schoolhouse bell tower!
...Yeah, for an MCF game, it's rather morbid.
