Mystic Ark |

Developers: Produce This game has unused areas. |
The pseudo-sequel to The 7th Saga, often cited for localization as "The 7th Saga 2" but was never released outside of Japan.
To do: *List unused enemies and provide images. |
Unused Items
Items
7EB0A0xx
7EB0A106
Changes the main character's first item in the inventory.
Where an unused item is xx:
11: Poisoned Water [どくみずのビン] - Does low poison damage to one enemy in battle. Description:
Text | Translation |
---|---|
There is poisoned water inside the bottle. Does poison damage to 1 enemy. |
16: Debug Crystal [デバッグクリスタル] - Debug warping tool. See below. The description reads "デバッグようのクリスタル", or "Crystal for Debugging".
18: Battle Records [たたかいのきろく] - Using it displays "これまでのきろく" (Historical Records) but otherwise does nothing.
The description reveals much more about the item's intended use:
Text | Translation |
---|---|
If you use this on the field, you can view the data of past battles. |
This feature was likely scrapped in favor of viewing monster stats using the monster capture option.
19: <Blank>, No description. Using it will exit the menus but no other effect.
1B: Battle Skill Book [せんとうわざぜんしょ] - Using it opens an empty dialogue window. Description:
Text | Translation |
---|---|
Contains information on techniques that can be used in battle. |
Was most likely rendered obsolete thanks to the description option in the normal menus.
1C: Grand Magic Book [だいまほうぜんしょ] - Using it, again, only opens an empty dialogue window. These all appear right after each other at the end of the group of usable key items, which would seem to indicate they'd all do something useful when used. Description:
Text | Translation |
---|---|
You can read it by using it to learn about magic. |
Again, it was most likely rendered obsolete thanks to the description option in the normal menus.
2A: <blank> - The item's name is blank and it does nothing if used; however, the description is entirely unique, and appears to be of a deleted item:
Text | Translation |
---|---|
When you eat this, your level will go down by 1! |
2B: Biscuit [ビスケット] - This (according to the description) has the same effect as the Gryphon Boots, which enables you to avoid the effects of damage floors. The only problem is that damage floors are practically nonexistent in this game. Also, the item is unusable anyway (weirdly, it can be used in battle against a single enemy, to no effect). Description:
Text | Translation |
---|---|
If you eat this, you will be able to walk on the damage floors without taking damage. |
48: Scroll [スクロール] - Using it or accessing the description opens an empty dialogue window. Notably appears within a group of event items.

せかい7 | World 7 | Goes to Fairy Tale World, at the entrance of the Inn in the first town. |
とうぎじょう | Arena | Entrance to the Arena; this area and the Debug Room have their own list of Warp entries, but they are just duplicate lists of Mechanical World's and all the entries warp you to the save point in the room with the Pirate World ship. |
よび2 | Reserved 2 | Debug Room |
Debug Room
You can enter this room through the Debug Crystal while in the main Temple area.
This room, in which you spawn inside a wall and must use hacks to get out (try 7E09A468 or otherwise modify RAM address 7E09A4 to 68 after entering), takes place on the Bloodhook ship and contains a variety of NPCs, all of which say generic inventory dialogue or the first line of gender choice at the game's start (which doesn't affect anything). The fox, however, runs an Inn for 50G. All exits are nonfunctional.
