Need for Speed (not to be confused with Road & Track Presents: The Need for Speed) was yet another pseudo-reboot of the franchise, aiming to bring the street racing focus of the Underground series up to date with the car culture of 2015. It was mostly successful, despite criticism for the game's handling model and its always-online nature.
