New Super Luigi U also has unused sprites and sprite settings, just like New Super Mario Bros. U. However there are not as many; New Super Luigi U only has 107 sprites, compared to New Super Mario Bros. U's 625.
Unused Sprite Settings
Sprite 632
Sprite 632, which is a Seesaw Mushroom Platform, only appears in 3-2 ("Cooligan Shrooms") in retail, and the seesaw platforms are icy. This is done by having a nybble 9 of 1, but 0 is unused. 0 causes the platform to no longer be icy, which is never seen in the retail game.
