Nintendo 3DS Guide: Louvre: serving museumgoers since 2012.
Stripped of anti-theft features tying it to the museum's Wi-Fi network, it was released to the public in 2013 on the eShop and on game card (but only at the museum's gift shop), in separate editions for each supported language for space reasons.
The physical versions hold the questionable award for being the only region-free consumer 3DS releases. (More than a few 3DS titles have region-free applications, but are bundled with region-locked system updates that affect the whole card, and/or are eShop-only).
