On the official website for this game, Charmander and Charmeleon from the Arceus expansion, released before PTCGO's operations, were part of the game's tutorials but not implemented in the Trainer Challenge or even searchable like other unobtainable cards that were released before the Arceus expansion.
Additionally, an unidentified 'Pokémon' silhouette could once be found within the flash files located at: http://assets.pokemontcg.com/Tutorials/TutorialNavigation.swf . Pokémon Elite 2000 reports that Serena Robar from The Pokémon Company International said that this was not a new Pokémon but simply a placeholder image.
