Windows Leftovers
Throughout the game's filesystem are many leftovers from the game's original Windows release, even more so than the game's previously-released PlayStation 2 port:
DATA\CONSOLE\MAIN_MENU1\DO_YOU_WANT_TO_EXIT1.MWT
A graphic for a prompt meant to be seen when exiting the game.
DATA\CONSOLE\MAIN_MENU1\CREDITS_HIGH.MWT
A button to access the game's credits. (Highlighted version)
DATA\CONSOLE\MAIN_MENU1\CREDITS_LOW.MWT
A button to access the game's credits. (Normal version)
DATA\CONSOLE\MAIN_MENU1\BG_MAIN_MENULOW.MWT
The original Windows release's main menu background.
DATA\CONSOLE\SELETE_MODE1\BALLOON_MISSION_MODE.MWT
Originally seen when highlighting Mission Mode in the mode selection menu.
Opening Sequence
The folder DATA\TITLE only contains graphics from the Windows release's opening cutscene and pre-title animation.
Language Selection Screen
Seemingly placeholder assets for a language selection screen can be found within the directory DATA\LANGUAGE. Curiously, the "highlighted" and "pressed" variations of the English button are swapped.
ENG_H.MWT / ENG_N.MWT / ENG_P.MWT
FRA_H.MWT / FRA_N.MWT / FRA_P.MWT
GER_H.MWT / GER_N.MWT / GER_P.MWT
ITA_H.MWT / ITA_N.MWT / ITA_P.MWT
POR_H.MWT / POR_N.MWT / POR_P.MWT
SPA_H.MWT / SPA_N.MWT / SPA_P.MWT
Unseen Logos
Found within DATA\LICENSE are two unused logo screens.
The first, CPI_BLACK.MWT, is an unused variant of the CyberPlanet Interactive logo that uses a black background rather than a white one.
The second, EU_LEXICON.MWT, is the logo of the publishing company Lexicon Entertainment. Given the file's name, it is hinted they were going to publish this title in Europe, but such release never happened.
Unknown Leftover
The files ICON03.MWT, ICON04.MWT, ICON05.MWT and ICON06.MWT are leftovers from a currently unknown game. However, it is important to note that the character shown shares a great resemblance to one of the monsters in Monster Eggs, a previous CyberPlanet Interactive game.
