One Must Fall 2097 is a DOS fighting game with large robots. Mostly a more "humane" way of fighting since it only damages objects rather than causing bloodshed.

Unused Text

Major Kreissack has text in case he's the player, although the replies from the other fighter tend to be generic. The fact that he is supposed to be an unselectable pilot in-game are pointed out in his quotes, among which quips of hacking and also certain codes are present.

Major Kreissack vs. Crystal Nothing like hacking up a game, eh? So why are you fighting me, anyway?
Major Kreissack vs. Steffan I get a real pleasure from ripping up someone's work. So why are you fighting me, anyway?
Major Kreissack vs. Milano How is it that I'm fighting against you, anyhow? So why are you fighting me, anyway?
Major Kreissack vs. Christian Who did this to me!?! So why are you fighting me, anyway?
Major Kreissack vs. Shirro I'm supposed to be on the other side of this screen. So why are you fighting me, anyway?
Major Kreissack vs. Jean-Paul Please put me back where I belong. So why are you fighting me, anyway?
Major Kreissack vs. Ibrahim The blood code is BACK BACK FORWARD PUNCH KICK then FORWARD 135 times. So why are you fighting me, anyway?
Major Kreissack vs. Angel To play as the Kreissack, press the <F19> key. So why are you fighting me, anyway?
Major Kreissack vs. Cossette To reach Arachnid, get seven perfects in a row. So why are you fighting me, anyway?
Major Kreissack vs. Raven Why are you reading this, anyhow? So why are you fighting me, anyway?
Major Kreissack vs. Major Kreissack Now THIS I gotta see. 'Aven't we met before?

Sound Test

In the main menu, press ALT+S+F (all keys must be held simultaneously). This adds the sound test to the configuration menu, where you can select a given sound using the arrow keys, and play the sound with Enter. Up to 72 sounds may be played, although the test goes up to 299.

Easter Egg

OMF2097-hiddenmessage.png

In a very tongue-in-cheek way, a hidden message can be found on the bottom-left corner on the title screen. The font's color is (0, 0, 4) in RGB, making it very slightly stick out from the black used for the pedestrian.
