Anti-Piracy Warning Screen

There exists an English version of the Japanese version's anti-piracy warning, replaced with a message about reading the manual:

Since the overseas version skips over the "warning", it's left unused.

20th Anniversary

Textures for the 20th Anniversary screen. The game instead uses a pre-rendered video file for it, leaving this unused. Anniverssary is also misspelled.

Catherine Leftovers

Some of the textures for the Catherine DLC outfits contain leftover face textures from the characters said outfits are based on. Ryuji, Morgana, Ann, Haru and Futaba do not have these leftover textures.

The texure for the protagonist's outfit contains Vincent's face textures.

The texture for Akechi's outfit contains Dumuzid's face textures.

Unused Kamoshida Texture

The face texture for Kamoshida has an unfinished and unused texture which depicts him with golden eyes like his Shadow. He's the only target of the Phantom Thieves to have golden eyes in the texture bank of their normal form. Likewise, his Shadow's face textures contain his normal eyes which goes unused.

Likewise, the main texture for Asmodeus Kamoshida contain a small, early texture for the cognitive Ann inside his wine glass which has more tone and definition most notable in the bust and leg areas. This early texture also lacks a texture for cognitive Ann's bikini. The final version of cognitive Ann's texture is stored separately in Asmodeus Kamoshida's texture bank.

The textures for the object model used for the guards that beat the volleyball team in Kamoshida's Training Hall of Love have this texture in their texture bank. It appears to be a leftover from the Machine enemies from Persona 4, as part of the texture has "VIII" (Justice) written on it. This texture is actually a leftover from an early design for the guards, as the December 2015 beta has some early models of the guards which use the bottom right part of the texture for their mask. The regular guard shadows in Kamoshida's Palace do not have this unused texture.

Unused Field Textures

Big Echo

Unused textures for Yongen-jaya made up from a photograph of Big Echo, a karaoke chain in Japan. The Big Echo building depicted appears to the one located near Sangen-jaya Station in Setagaya, given that it is found in the texture banks for a model of several buildings that are heavily based on that area. There is no equivalent to the Big Echo building present in the model.

Daytime and Cloudy Underpass

The billboard texture used for the Underpass has a daytime and cloudy weather variant. The player can never see these textures in game as the only time the Underpass is visited is during Toranosuke's confidant, which always takes place at night. The daytime underpass texture would later be used in one of the ending cutscenes in Royal, if Iwai's Confidant was maxed.

Kamoshida's Palace

While the flags with writing on them are used, the chalkboard textures and the arty-looking Kamoshida flag are not. The chalkboards were originally meant to be mounted on the front of the cells in the dungeon, as seen in several unused fields intended for the dungeon.

These were likely meant to have been overlaid on top of the chalkboards.

Madarame's Elevator

A texture for an elevator, intended for Madarame's Palace. There are no elevators in his palace in the final game. These textures only appear in tex053_040_00_00, which corresponds to a field that was deleted from the game.

Sae's Palace Game Tables

Two textures for a Poker table, as well as a higher quality version of the texture used for the poker tables on the lower floor of Niijima's Palace. Like the unused elevator textures, the field that these textures belong to has been deleted. Despite this, the texture bank for this deleted field still exists within the game's field_tex/textures folder, under the name tex057_170_00_00.

Unseen Details

The textures for King Frost has a blue texture and a smiley face present. These textures cannot be seen in normal gameplay as they are only present on a group of Jack Frosts hidden inside of its chest.
