Unused Heroes
In the files of the game are some unused heroes:
- Crime Biter - A unknown plant hero referenced occasionally, may have been introduced in the scrapped Game of Plants event, similar to how Beta-Carrotina and Huge Giganticus were introduced in the Galactic Gardens update.
- Professor Von Bats - A zombie hero thats the same, possibly also intended for Game of Plants.
- Crazy Dave - Everyone's favorite pot-wearing neighbour was planned as a hero for plants. He has multiple references in the code and full set of sprites. His was meant to be bought using a scrapped 'Hero Shards' currency.
- Dr. Zomboss - The leader of the zombies was likewise the same.
Hero Levelling System
Referenced in the files of older versions of the game, the heroes were originally going to have a levelling system. In an unknown update, the heroes were going to be nerfed at level 1, such as only having access to 2 superpowers and having a smaller max deck size. Using the unused Hero Shards currency, players could level up their heroes to make the more powerful, changing their designs in the process. Presumably removed due to making the game less fair.

Unknown Fire Superpower
Textures for an unknown fire-like Superpower card. Internally, it is known as Fire_Blast_18
Unused Superpowers
According to the code of the game, both Yeti Lunchbox and Nibble were going to be superpowers to unknown heroes. This was changed in the final game, and they are regular cards which can be used by any Beastly hero.
