Postal 2/Unused Voice Acting
This is a sub-page of Postal 2.
Oh dear, I do believe I have the vapors. This page contains content that is not safe for work or other locations with the potential for personal embarrassment. Such as: Audio vulgarity. |
To do: There's a lot of this, and odds are I've included a few used lines by accident. |
Sub-Pages
Postal Dude A dude with so much unused dialogue he gets his own subpage. |
Protesters
Two unused chants from protesters. One of them was for a removed group (whose protest signs still exist unused in the files), while the other one is present in the game but serve no purpose, simply being random NPCs you can find. Lead designer for RWS Marphy Black confirmed that the first line listed here would've been for protesters near the Church, which means they most likely might be the original attackers before being swapped with terrorists, while the second one was meant to be found near Meat World.
"Sin, sin! Go away! God loves us, straight or gay!"
"No more beef! Moo! No more beef! Moo!"

Attica! Attica! | Commented out with "Sounded bad.. he chanted it, instead of screamed it (scared)". |
Police
In the code section lcop_noticelegalgun
in DialogueMaleCop.ux are lines for a scrapped "legal guns" mechanic. While there are a few weapons that do not anger cops but simply have them stare at the player, they do not say these lines. This mechanic would later be added to Postal 4: No Regerts.

Just watch where you're pointing that thing, son.
It's probably not a good idea flashing that piece around.
I hope you have a permit for that. |
