- Jan. 31 - A Barnyard video game was confirmed to be in development alongside the movie's release.[1]
2006
- Apr. 25 - THQ announces Barnyard for a July release date.[2]
- Aug. 1 - Barnyard was released.

Five screenshots of the game was posted, dating to May 16, 2006. Though five of them are from a press kit, the last one is from IGN.
