Pre-release Timeline
2007
- July 19 - Bully: Scholarship Edition is announced by Rockstar Games, scheduled for release later that year.[1]
2008
- January 4 - The first screenshots are released.[2]
- January 21 - The game is shown to GameSpot.[3]
- January 30 - The first trailer is released.
- February 13 - The game is shown to GameSpot again.[4]
- February 14 - The "Valentine's Special" trailer is released.
- March 4 - Scholarship Edition is released in North America.
- March 7 - Scholarship Edition is released in Europe.
- July 23 - The game is announced for a Japanese release, simply called Bully.
- July 24 - Bully is released in Japan.

- (0:23) The Chemistry classroom is much more lit.
- (0:28) One of the windows in the Boys' Dorm's recreation room has a green tint, likely an oversight.
- (0:48) The Cafeteria's kitchen has actual lighting. In the final game, the area is quite dark.

- The UI of Music Class has different input buttons showing that it was planned for the player to press the stick buttons. It's possible it got changed to the trigger buttons for better gameplay.
- Miss Peters can be seen performing the dance animation that she only does in the Wii version of the game.
