This article is a work in progress.
...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes.

Screenshots

In general:

  • The Mitsubishi Lancer has different Marlboro censorship, where the chevrons are used, but with no text. In the final game, the side chevron was changed to a rectangle, the front chevrons were flattened, and the rear chevron was changed so that only the lower bumper was white (along with the "TOMMI" text being added in the final game).
  • Martini logos are present on the Ford Focus and Lancia Delta, which were removed due to it being an alcohol sponsor.
  • However, the livery used for the Ford Focus in these screenshots was used as a base for the Colin McRae Rally Remaster in 2013. It's unknown why this texture was used there in specific, but the livery is now recovered.
  • Because these screenshots were dated from 1999 to early 2000, the Ford Focus shown in the screenshots is the 1999-spec car, which was changed into an unlockable car in favour of the 2000 car.

Codemasters Electronic Artwork Disc ECTS 1999

  • Disc contains several shots from July 6, 1999. These images also featured as Championship shots on DPK/Product Artwork discs.

Codemasters Digital Press Kit/Codemasters Product Artwork Q 1 And 2 (February 2000)

  • Several screenshots of the Windows version can be found in both discs from Codemasters, which were released in February 2000 (DPK from February 9 and Product Artwork from February 24).

Championship Mode (July 5-6, 1999)

Championship Mode (December 7-8, 1999)

Arcade Mode (January 19-20, 2000)

Official Site screenshots

  • Screenshots from official site. Original archive wasn't backuped, but it's content was reuploaded.
  • One of images from cmr2screens.zip shows 2000-spec of Seat Cordoba, but final PC version also uses 1999-spec as PlayStation counterpart.
