Scrapped Races

To do: Translate the image and get details on the other scrapped races.

Klion

The Klion (クライオン) were a race meant to live in cold regions. The associated sprite and race details were adapted to the final game's beaver race.

The Klion race's design, however, would be re-used in Final Fantasy III (with minor alterations to their sprites), becoming the now-iconic Moogles.

Ryubaiso

The Ryubaiso (リューバイソ)

The Ryubaiso race's design would be used (with somewhat modified sprites, and in monochrome) in Final Fantasy Adventure.

Cynidisian

The Cynidisian (シニディシアン) were a race of masked creatures.

Unlike the rest of the scrapped races, the sprites for this race were actually used in the final game, but assigned to the masked residents of the Tropical Island village.

Silgag

The Silgag (シゥルガグ)

Like with the Ryubaiso, the sprites used for the Mylgag race would later be re-used (in monochrome) for the character Dr. Bowow in Final Fantasy Adventure.
