Foxy and Mangle's Models
In the game's third teaser image, Mangle is depicted with a hook similar to Foxy, however in-game, Mangle does not have a hook and instead possesses both hands. Foxy's model from the first game is also seen in this teaser, with glowing white pupils. However, Foxy is majorly replaced by Withered Foxy, opposed to his minor minigame appearances.
The trailer for Five Nights at Freddy's 2 was uploaded by Scott Cawthon on October 21st, 2014. Despite being mostly animated cinematics, a small handful of differences can still be found, which are all listed below.
Please keep in mind that the trailer was released in a highly edited format, and thus not all of the changes below may actually reflect the game's development.
- Phone Guy has an additional line that is not used at all in the final game.
"Hello? Hello, hello? Uh, well, if you're hearing this, then, chances are you've made a very poor career choice."
- The "Flashlight" text is completely missing from the UI.
- The "AM" text is not affected by blackouts.
Early Screenshots
On the game's Steam and IndieDB page, six gameplay screenshots can be seen. However, in all of them, no "Flashlight" text is seen on the HUD. Unlike the screenshots for the first game, these gameplay screenshots appear to have been cropped within the game window.
