A screenshot on magazine issue 39 of Gamest shows Wyvern, the three-headed dragon that is Stage 7's boss in the final game, as Stage 1's boss instead of the antlion-like creature Goliath. It was mentioned by designer Miyoshi Takemasa in a developer interview that Goliath was originally the boss of Stage 7 and the stages were touched up to accommodate the boss swap.
