This page details prerelease information and/or media for Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup (PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube).

Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup was announced in April 2003. It was released in America in October 2003 and in Europe in November 2003.

E3 2003 Trailer

This is a trailer from E3 2003. It's pretty much the intro for the final game with some small differences.

  • The team names appear at each transition of the video.
  • The Japan and Nordic matches lack sound effects.
  • The England player who scores a goal and yells at the end of the video is out of sync.
  • The female Japanese player's scream is used at the end of the video.
  • Harry and Draco go for the Golden Snitch at the end of the video whilst its used at the start of the intro for the final game before transitioning to Japan Vs USA.

E3 2003 Footage

This is footage for the game from E3 2003.

  • The Golden Snitch Meter is set up from the start and was more tag based as opposed to tug of war and being built up in the final game.
  • Special Moves and Goal Taunts were part of gameplay as opposed to cutscenes in the final game.
  • There are no boost meters visible when going to catch the Golden Snitch.
