Unlike Kirby's Return to Dream Land, Triple Deluxe wasn't shown to the public much prior to its release: It was first announced in a 2013 Nintendo Direct, and had no other trailers afterward. However, many developer tidbits were given through the now-defunct Miiverse service.
Development Timeline
2013
- October 1 - The game is revealed in a Nintendo Direct event.
2014
- January 10 - The first Kirby: Triple Deluxe developer post is posted on Miiverse.
- January 11 - The game is released in Japan.
- April 17 - The game is released in South Korea.
- May 2 - The game is released in the United States.
- May 16 - The game is released in Europe.
