E3 2010 Footage
- If you listen closely, you can hear the Fatality start/end BGM from Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe.
- The Pit's stage Fatality has a different sound effect for the impale.
- The Super Bar is in an early design at this point, which is simple-looking compared to the final one.
- Scorpion uses Kano's throws.
- The "get up" animation (used when the opponent is getting back up after the victor wins a round) is reused from Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe.
- Nightwolf's model has a feather on his headband, which was removed from the final game but kept on in-game art (such as his VS. screen image).
- The animation for when Johnny Cage is waiting for an attack to counter for his X-Ray is different.
- Kung Lao and Reptile's throws change the camera angle.
- Kung Lao doesn't start his X-Ray with a Spin.
- The loading bar on the VS. screen is different.
- Mileena uses a different X-Ray in this video, where she delivers a gut punch and knee to the head instead of rapid stabbing with her Sais. This variant of her X-Ray would end up being the "default" X-Ray in the final game, being used by the NPCs if you play as them through mods.
Cinematic Trailer
- Jax fires a rocket at Mileena, which is a special attack he had in Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe.
- Scorpion is seen doing Kano's "Eat Your Heart Out" Fatality.
Announcement Trailer
- At 0:33, you can see Shao Kahn as he appeared in Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe.
- Right after the above part you can see Johnny Cage with a different hairstyle.
- When the thunder is striking Nightwolf (part of his intro) his body glows yellow, similar to the Rage effects in Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe.
- The animation for getting frozen by Sub-Zero is reused from Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe.
- Johnny Cage uses the "Default" X-Ray here, mentioned above.
- Sub-Zero uses Noob Saibot's screams even in his default costume here. In the final game, Sub-Zero uses Noob's voice clips in his alt costume (which is Bi-Han).
