Resident Evil Zero began development on the Nintendo 64, and was originally going to be released for it, but was eventually moved to the GameCube. Footage exists of the original N64 version shown at TGS 1999, E3 2000, and various trailers floating around the internet. At some point in 2000, an EEPROM development cartridge containing an N64 build was used for a Mega Man 64 prototype.
