Tokyo Game Show '98 Autumn
Imagineer showcased Sanrio Timenet: Kako Hen and Mirai Hen prior to release at Tokyo Game Show '98 Autumn (東京ゲームショウ'98秋). These were just two of many other games Imagineer presented at the show. The scheduled release date was November 6th, 1998. The final versions were released three weeks later than planned, on November 27th, 1998.

Cut Monsters
On February 2022, monster designer Hisato Inoue revealed official artwork of some of the monsters which didn't make it into the final games while he was working for Inspace.

Additionally, Ōsha, Inbōdā, Kureora, Rabī, Kalios, Sarison, Koritto, Mūra, Pam, Nūpā, Paranchura, Piro, Shīraon and Māpo while unused in Sanrio Timenet were reworked for Timenet's spiritual sequel Space-Net: Cosmo Red and Cosmo Blue.

Unlike most other monsters, Monster Zakki is not owned by Timenet Co., Ltd. (Imagineer)/Inspace; it's a depiction of Monster Zakki from Sanrio's 1993 Donragon franchise who was originally yellow). Additionally, like Zakkī there is no illustration in the official guidebooks)
