This page details prerelease information and/or media for Tatakae! Chou Robot Seimeitai Transformers: Convoy no Nazo.

Starting at 2:55 in the video on the right, this Transformers promo tape includes an early look into Convoy no Nazo.

General Differences

  • The score appears to be continuously increasing at the beginning. The counter also seems to be shifted more to the right than the final.
  • The music is rather different, and also plays during the bosses.
  • The score font is like those of early Famicom games, rather than using its own (blander) font.

All the fights with the Decepticon logo have the same color, where all of them have different colors in the final. Plus, there are 4 platforms instead of 3. The bottom half of the logo is wider in the video.

Boss 4: Nemesis

Video Final

Though the fight is the same, like the Decepticon logos, there are 4 platforms in the video instead of 3.

Boss 5: Menasor

Video Final

There are no platforms to stand on in the video, as Ultra Magnus seems to be standing in air. Menasor himself also doesn't fire projectiles, and also has a somewhat different head.

Boss 7: Bruticus
