    • Invites the Player to follow the main quest path when coming to the island for the first​time. Also serves as an orientation point so the player doesn’t get lost on his first venture into Ard Skellig.

Northern Plains

  • 6 - Butcher farms
    • A small community of butchers and herders processing meat and herding animals. Pigs, goats, cows, most of them behind fences, butchered animals.
  • 24 - Perimeter Castle
    • Castle at the Southern End of the Valley, succumbed to the harsh winds over time.
  • 25 - Hot Springs special fx - steam, water, waterfalls
  • 26 - Whale Graveyard whale bones, skeletons
  • 27 - Diseased Drake + Nest diseased dragon
    • The carcass of a still decaying drake next to its nest.
  • 40 - Troll Cave
  • 41 - Village destroyed by Dragon
    • This village got to experience the dragon while it was still alive and kicking.

War Alley

    • Build with material scavenged from nearby shipwrecks.
  • 12 - Giant War Idol - backstory should be explained giant war idol
    • A giant man-shaped idol that has been built by stacking rocks on top of each other. Some live near the statue, taking care of the sacred place.
  • 13 - Fyresdal Village (aka Hern’s Village) whalebone-imbued architecture
    • A wilder looking architecture, involving whale bones, furs, etc.
    • Residence of Lugos the Mad, Jarl of the clan Undvik
  • 16 - Guard Tower Ruins
  • 17 - Raven’s Home
    • A village utterly destroyed by a long past war.
  • 18 - Abandoned Military Base / Fort
  • 49 - Tilted siege tower
    • A symbol or rage, war lust and an ultimate craving for power, it’s a remnant of an ancient battle. A war lord once thought that he could rule the land with the obvious might of a siege tower, so he had one built, and halfway through the battlefield it got stuck in a ditch. - backstory could be explained giant abandoned siege tower covered in plants, moss, collapsed parts, rot and damage
  • 53 - The Smite
    • A huge chasm in the middle of War Alley, emitting toxic fumes. Legend has it that a warrior/giant of mighty strength has laid his axe on the ground with such furious anger, that it split the ground open

    • A secluded village, inhabited by people gone mad. They kidnap people from nearby Holmstein. - backstory should be explained

  • 23 - Clanlord’s Keep - backstory should be explained
    • The Clanlord has barricaded and completely closed of his keep to the outside world, after recent events in the region and the cataclysm.

  • S1 - Floating Market floating market model made out of existing assets
    • A market established on conjoined ships, only accessible with a boat. Heirs of a once large and proud clan; cast out by the mighty Ice Giant from their homeland. The vowed that they shall never set foot on dry land other than home, and they are on a constant voyage to strengthen their ranks and become strong enough to vanquish their foe. It’s constantly on the move on the eastern shores of Ard Skellig, in the shadow of mountains.
  • S7 - Renegade pirates hideout - backstory should be explained
    • A few deserters from the main pirate forces of Skellige decided to found their own pirate venture in a faraway corner of the island.
  • S6 - Giant cave complex
    • With treasure, bandits, adventurers and monsters
  • S5 - Wrecked battleship shipwreck
    • Boardable
  • S4 - Cargo reef cargo reef model built from existing assets
    • Giant heap of lost cargo forms a small island. It’s robbed empty, but there might be some stuff left for Geralt to salvage.
  • S3 - Small treasure cave
    • Requires advanced sailing skills to access.
