There's also http://earthboundcentral.com/2009/01/egms-earthbound-review/ – an EGM review that seems to have used an incomplete American version (Threed is still Threek, and the Runaway Five are still Tonzura with the Blues Brothers outfits). I hope it helps. :) -WarioBarker (talk) 00:17, 7 April 2014 (EDT)

Will take note of it when I (eventually) get around to that page. Thanks. West (talk) 09:19, 7 April 2014 (EDT)

Are the subpages really necessary?

I don't really think the subpages are necessary, since 2 out of 3 of the pages only have one thing on them. It would be a good idea to just have it on one page imo. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Anton Cool Guy (talk • contribs)

The prerelease page is not finished yet. There are still several more screenshots to upload to the other two pages. If there aren't enough screenshots for those, then I will combine the three pages with the main prerelease page. Until we get all the screenshots needed though, I'll leave it as is. --From: divingkataetheweirdo (talk) 03:53, 7 January 2017 (EST)
Good to know! The pages are also clearly unfinished, and I hope it turns into something great! --Anton Cool Guy (talk) 04:19, 7 January 2017 (EST)
I'm going to try working expanding all of those sections significantly. There are tons of material for the 1994 Prerelease and the English prerelease. West (talk) 10:02, 7 January 2017 (EST)
Keep up the good work everyone! I can feel this page is gonna be great once it's finished! --Anton Cool Guy (talk) 08:01, 9 January 2017 (EST)

LD screens

Howdy,

I own the LaserDisc version of the promo video that the MOTHER 2 segment online was featured in (of which after possessing a better LD player, I plan to re-upload a 60FPS version someday). The LD version features much higher audio quality (digital sound!) given that it's on a disc-based format, so I could hear that unused track in the middle of the segment better. The video quality is also noticeably better too. Anyways, what you see below are a GIF and seven PNGs that I've already uploaded to the site and posted them onto the 1992 page itself. If there are screencaps of scenes or segments you need to make comparisons to the final version to, I'll gladly put them up on the pre-release page. Happy to help.

That looks cool, I cropped the preview shots from this guy's upload but yours looks even sharper. I'm gonna mess around Snes9x so that I can update all prerelease stuffs from '92 video, at least Tenda's Village from that footage is far from finished, too. How do you make the gif image in reasonable size, tho? I tried to make animated version of preview title screen but programs I used always bloat it over gigabytes. --Your Sanctuary (talk) 01:55, 10 January 2017 (EST)
So, I use Photoshop CS6 to create GIFs. From the footage I select, I use Save for Web option and select GIF under the preset option. I always consider the dimensions of the image before exporting so the file size doesn't get too bloated. I choose to scale the GIF down to 320x240 because it seemed like a good size. =P --OKeijiDragon 03:34, 10 January 2017 (EST)
This is awesome. You should definitely upload a 60FPS version at one point. Also, how about replacing the current prerelease earth logo with an animated one? Anton Cool Guy (talk) 06:01, 10 January 2017 (EST)
Sorry for taking so long to reply. I finally got around to uploading the 60FPS video today (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nr6pth9Ddbc) and I had already long replaced that image with an animated GIF file. I'll gradually add stuff to the articles. Can I rename the articles into something better? OKeijiDragon 01:04, 19 December 2018 (EST)
