Zauver/Zauber title ambiguity

It is unclear whether the "official" title of this cancelled game is "Zauver" or "Zauber". Both spellings appear in unofficial sources. Standard Romanized Japanese　for both pronunciations would be "Zaubaa"/「ザウバー」, though "Zauber" is a real word in German ("magic"). I am currently researching archived versions of Square's Japanese-language website in ~1995-6 for any further references to the game to see if there is an 'official' Romanization.Schottenjaeger (talk) 21:45, 12 January 2024 (UTC)

  • Archived versions of the site only date back to 1997, with heavy losses due to extensive use of Javascript in the page. There is no mention of the game on any discoverable page. The North American page launched at nearly the same time, and lacks any mention of the game until the announcement of Einhander.Schottenjaeger (talk) 00:14, 13 January 2024 (UTC)
