Added what i could find, thanks~ Zachruff (talk) 17:27, 22 September 2018 (EDT)
Also, we should probably compare all the japanese text to the final game, im just too lazy to do that rn Zachruff (talk) 17:28, 22 September 2018 (EDT)
I have found more prerelease content:
First, a video of Mario Kart Wii shown on Nintendo Fall Press Conference 2007,which shows bikes for the first time as well as some interesting things. For instance, the engine sounds were borrowed from MKDS (another piece of evidence that shows that MKWii was build from MKDS), early design of DK Summit/DK Snowboard Cross, and also interesting is that whenever the characters trick on a half pipe, it makes a sound like when you hit a wall, this probably happens because half pipes have an invisible wall that let you not fall of the track, but in the final game, it doesnt make any sound at all. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TOBpEAK9SiM&index=18&list=LLUtFYOTMusUa8TgyNH37YkQ&t=0s&app=desktop) In conclusion, it seems to be the same build shown at E3 2007.
This video are probably from the same build as of February 2008 screenshots (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AgULWgsJUPk&list=LLUtFYOTMusUa8TgyNH37YkQ&index=15) The differences I could find: the trick sound was different (reminds me of the sound that plays when you get a new record on time trials). On 0:22,Yoshi is using the golden mushroom, but it doesnt animate when he is using it, unlike in the final game. Also Yoshi's head is turned while on air, something that AFAIK is not possible on the final (the head rotation resets its neutral position as soon as you are into the air, possible remaining from MKDS). On this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGXKpvjBPuE&index=14&list=LLUtFYOTMusUa8TgyNH37YkQ) various builds seem to be mixed for the trailer, since there are clips showing the old trick sound and the golden mushroom not animating like I said above.
On this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qtNzXigTQE0&list=LLUtFYOTMusUa8TgyNH37YkQ&index=13) at 0:37, the bullet has a different smoke, I think it was like that on MKDS aswell.
Heres another trailer mixing other trailers (https://youtu.be/3c2dJWGfLpI). And heres a Korean trailer (is there any differemce from the final Korean game?) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVu_gv0d0y4&list=LLUtFYOTMusUa8TgyNH37YkQ&index=11)
This one is from an almost final build. The only differences I could spot is that the sound for when a friiend opened a room (2:41) was slightly lower pitch than in the final,

and also on (2:48) there is an early icons for the Mario Kart Channel banner (competitions/tournaments and the You havent raced a ghost in a while" icons)

In conclusion, if you want to find early content of the game, it's best to go find trailers, images and content from before (or a bit after) the game was released on many gaming websites, magazines, etc. Another tip is to do a Google Reverse Search on any kf the images to find the sources for this content, and thus maybe find more on thoa websites.--B squo (talk) 06:30, 9 October 2018 (EDT)
I just found out some more prerealese screenshots: http://www.gamekyo.com/newsfr22177_mario-kart-wii-avec-des-motos.html
Some differences include:
The Luigi Circuit image shows an early version of the circuit! The little ramp was completely different, the billboards also had differennt textures (a Mario Sunshine billboard, some Mario Kart billboards with an early texture, etc). I'm pretty sure this one comes from the E3 2007 build, because the boost pads have an slight different color, like the one shown in the trailer, and also DK's Standard Kart L had a slight different desing (seen on King Boo in the trailer).
The Mario Circuit image with Mario and the Classic Dragster has a tiny transparency miatake at the top of the street lamp (it looks like the castle window texture is in front of the top of the lamp, weird.)
The image showing Waluigi in Moo Moo Meadoows shows an early color for his offroader (in the photo is dark blue, resembling Funky Kong's offroader, while in the final game is purple). Besides, on all these screenshots, the Offroader vehicle does not have a flag on the back of it!
In the DK summit picture, maybe the billboards shown on the right are different? I can't check it right now. Plus in some photoa, like in Coconut Mall and Wario Gold Mine, there seems to be less item boxes than in the final game.
This is all I could spot. I'm pretty sure there might be a few more differences though. So far the most notable image is the Luigi Circuit one, I've never seen that one before. --B squo (talk) 13:37, 9 October 2018 (EDT)
