This article makes my head spin...

1. Contrary to N64.com's October, 1996 claim that Zelda 64 Why do I have to follow a link to another page to know what this is talking about? Please post something like: "Link to previous articles on story/X topic," so it's easy to reference back to.

2. (Indeed, the game portrays the Imprisoning War featured in the prologue of A Link to the Past.)

Excuse me, but isn't this myth contradicting the end of the paragraph? I quote: Looking back, however, the developers remember that, right up until release, Zelda 64's development was in such disarray that it was impossible to tell whether or not the game was progressing or falling apart at the seems. Koizumi related that the staff didn't know what kind of game Ocarina of Time would be until all the parts came together. I'll also note that Koizumi is not the only one who said this was the modus operandi behind OoT. In the Twilight Princess NP specials, Makoto Sasaki recounts a similar philosophy behind the game (might this vibe with Miyamoto's regrets over Zelda II only being what was a on paper too?). http://www.zelda.com/universe/game/twilightprincess/inside11.jsp

3. With that in mind, why does the other article on https://tcrf.net/User:GlitterBerri/Prerelease:The_Legend_of_Zelda:_Ocarina_of_Time/A_%2B_B#Story say "However, this was the only story detail that was revealed. As Zelda games are based around game mechanics rather than stories, detailed plot information did not begin to emerge until nearly one year later."

I nitpick but this makes no sense to me. Am I or am I not being told OoT is the Imprisoning War? Another thing that's perplexing, is the article appears to suggest N64.com's claim and NP 100 a year later were simultaneous. The reason I'm picking on that ^^ is because I'm trying to get the framework of the story timeline. If they came up with the Fairy Tree story almost right off the bat (as seen in Zelda 64 previews), then this jives with the idea that Navi, which only came in the "second year" of development, influenced the story very much.

4. Only half of the Japanese source text for these two translations is available online, as a barely-eligible video slideshow of a scan of a copy of the Spaceworld '97 Official Guidebook, found by a Japanese fan while cleaning their room. Does anyone have a link to this? I am very interested, for what it's worth. Maybe spreading it around on Japanese Issuu or 2ch, someone can find and share it?

Good job though, whoever wrote these articles (I assume GB and co.). Your editorial ability to gather information and discern relevancy is second to none. Elements (talk) 11:47, 29 March 2016 (EDT)
