Gameplay differences, more aesthetic differences, and MUCH more.
Barkley Shut Up and Jam! 2 was released by Accolade in 1995, with not much critical acclaim. An early prototype was leaked on December 23, 2006 by drx.
Interestingly, both the prototype and the final have an almost identical header.

- No music plays during the game and one tune exists in the proto.
- Lots of missing sound effects.
- The game doesn't ask how many players want to play.
The Accolade Sport logo was re-rendered and has copyright information added.
The logo is similar to the final game, but with some changes to the "2" and a trademark symbol was added. The title screen itself was completely redone, with a photograph in the final instead of a drawing in the proto.
The options menu got a blue tint in the final version and the tournament menu has yet to be implemented. As a result, that menu's options are on the main menu in the proto.
A slight glitch to the rightmost part of the screen was fixed. Kimo had his hair darkened, the eyebrows have been redrawn to make him seem angrier, and some of his hair was removed.
Sir Charles got replaced with Coolidge in the final version.
The graphics have yet to be worked on so that this screen looks prettier.
The fonts and bars for the HUD were also redone for the final version.
Likewise, the Accolade emblem was changed to be prettier.
The hoop was redrawn, for whatever reason.
Heck, even the font got changed.
