Released as part of two Official Xbox Magazine demo discs - UK Demo 21 and USA Demo 30. Overall, it looks similar to the PS2 demo.

Notes
- Contents of this demo are the same, as in Xbox USA Demo from Official Xbox Magazine USA Demo 30, except TEMP folder, which is absent in USA demo and game executable.
Unused Graphics
- ShinyTest03.dds from TEMP folder (this folder is unique to European Demo) is unused environmental map. It comes from the DirectX SDK and is the interior of the Microsoft building.
- rally04.png from same directory is probably in-game image, which presents Ford Puma on some Greece stage.
- There are four cursors textures in TEMP/Dev/Cursors: move.dds, point.dds, rotate.dds, select.dds.
- Also unused x_camer1.dds from TEMP/Dev/Tags. It has own .tag
Dummy files
- Data/Cars/Xsara contains two dummy files. dummy.bak is empty file, and dummy contains string: aaaabbbbccccdddd.
FrontEnd
- Demo contains another control.dds texture, the only difference is Xbox logo, which wasn't in demo.

Cars
- Citroen Xsara and Peugeout 206 slightly changed after demo in final game. Some .dds textures and .p3d were modified. Here comparison of changed textures.
- Some textures were better in demo, but their quality were reduced, probably for optimisation purposes.

- Previews for podium (located in Data/FrontEnd/Podium) also slightly changed, most differences are same, as in PS2 demo counterparts, except Xbox previews don't stretched vertically and looks closer to 60 PS2 previews

Shaders
- Xbox version has shaders in two locations: shaders folder in root directory and Data/Rally_Shaders.
- shaders directory in final game has only 4 files, when demo places a few times more shaders. Some files from demo look to be unique and refers to bloom and scene contrast effects.
- Data/Rally_Shaders in demo also contains more shaders. including different and unique files. Some files could be related to night weather, cartoonish graphics, additional water shading and X-Ray mode.
