Proto:Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 3/Late Prototype

A late prototype of Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 3, dated September 3, 2005 (a little under a month before the US final build) was released by Hidden Palace on September 18, 2021, as part of Project Deluge. By this date, many of the game's aspects had already been completed, though a couple differences can still be seen in the game's text and songs.

Temporary European Credits

The file creditsEU.txt is in an even more temporary state compared to the final game. Instead of having filled music credits, that section has only the string ##### Stillwind will fill this part. ###### repeated 3 times.

Song Differences

BYE BYE BABY BALLOON

• The song does not have a proper Single Beginner chart yet.

Giudecca

• In both Heavy and Oni charts, the left+right jump placed directly on the stop on measure 7 was originally placed a 16th beat earlier. The example pictures below are taken from the Single Oni chart.

• The song's graphics still listed the song's name as "I Am Gothic 2003 Remix". This would be fixed in the final game, though the metadata would not be corrected until Dancing Stage Unleashed 3.
