Formations

The beta gives four options for Standing Orders: Rampage, Guard, Mirror, and Wait. The final version only has Rampage and Mirror accessible through the button toggle, although Guard and Wait can still be used by manually binding them in the Hotkeys menu to an unassigned key.

Standing Orders: Defining the desired movement and aggression of your autonomous party members:

            1. Rampage – Autonomous members take a offensive stance and will move to engage any enemies within their sight range. NOTE: A leash will keep party members from going too far from the formation.

            2. Guard – Autonomous members take a defensive stance and will only move to engage enemies that fire upon any party member.

            3. Mirror – Autonomous members take a defensive stance and will never move unless the player issues a move or attack command, but they will defend themselves (without moving) if they can fire back once fired upon. NOTE: A player-issued command will always interrupt and override any autonomous party member’s current action in this mode.

            4. Wait – Party stops moving entirely. They will defend themselves if fired upon but they will not move under any circumstance.
