This page sucks.
If you could make it suck less, that would be awesome.
Specifically: This and the car difference page would be better if it's split per build.

This article is a work in progress.
...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes.
Notes: Restructuring in general, using Proto:Yume Nikki as a model due to overlapping/similar changes in each demo build.

Several demo builds of Gran Turismo 2 were released in various demo discs.

Common Content

All the demo discs feature three playable cars, Ford Mustang GT '99, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution V GSR '98, and Fiat Coupe 20V Turbo, drivable at Rome Circuit for one lap. A variety of non-playable cars and tracks, otherwise accessible with cheat devices, are also shown during demo replays.

In all builds, the game is set to use Japanese units (PS for power, kg for weight, and km/h for speed) and English menu panels, regardless of the demo's intended region. Additionally, if you sit too long in the menus without doing anything, the game will eventually return you to the demo disc's main menu (title screen in case of the Test Drive demo).
