Character models

Adam

Adam's face textures are quite different compared to the retail one. While the finalized version fits more in-line of Vincent Cyr's face, the prototype looks like a mix of Cyr and a drug dealer with his beard spray painted on. His hair texture for the old version is also slightly different with it being much more whiteish and the crewmen body being high-res unlike in retail.

Nick

Nick's young model is slightly different compared to retail where the only real difference is on the model and him missing hair. Nick's hair also used to be different before it was changed like in final game as seen in some CorkScrewDood's SFM vids from the "HDTF" playlist.

Combine fighter

In the folder "materials\4k_nature\" there's an smd file for an unused Combine fighter model that can be seen as sprite in an early version of the Downtown map. It's missing textures and appears to be rigged as a prop, but how it got into the vmt folder in the first place is a complete mystery. This model can also be found in the retail build, but still without textures. One of the developers shared a textured render of the model showing off that it was possibly made by the same guy who made the combine mothership.
